Rebecca joined Howgate Sable in 2015, following a successful career in senior level talent acquisition and prior to that, sales with leading consumer brands. She has established herself in Industry & Supply Chain, Aviation and her specialist field, Cyber Security Risk Management. Rebecca delivers a tailored approach to a global client base; her understanding of her marketplace has seen her successfully challenge and support senior executives and human resource professionals to create successful teams. Rebecca has delivered campaigns including Director of Transformation, VP Supply Chain, Director of Asset Development and Delivery and the development of an internal consulting team for a global power and automation organisation.
In her role as Head of Cyber Security Risk Management, Rebecca, along with our advisory team, supports an organisation’s board on their strategic approach to prioritising business threats, through the introduction of regulation and governance professionals across defence, energy, healthcare, finance, and generalist manufacturing for roles including Chief Information and Security Officers (CISO’s), Governance, Risk & Compliance and Security Operations.
Cyber Security Risk Management is a major focus for Rebecca and Howgate Sable. Cyber security is one of the biggest financial risks faced by corporate boards globally and the introduction of regulations in the US and EU is making it more and more of a constant conversation at board level. Threats against our infrastructure, IP and personal data, by ‘script kiddie’, Nation States or a Nation State Proxy makes it increasingly important for the UK and International organisations to comply with and mitigate against this risk by investing in their people and technology.
The EMI Practice at Howgate Sable really took the time to understand our situation and find exceptional candidates who could fulfil challenging international leadership assignments for a truly global company with a history that spans well over 200 years.
