With decades of combined senior level and general management experience, Chris has substantial operational and strategic expertise within the aviation sector. She takes a consumer-led, practical approach delivering effective business growth solutions to her clients.
Chris has held consumer-facing management roles for numerous household-name businesses in the sector, starting her career with Iberia Airways and Carlson Worldchoice. In recent years, she has developed operational and strategic expertise holding senior leadership positions for TUI Airlines and easyJet.
Chris has a wealth of experience combining long term strategy with short term detail, resulting in successfully navigating companies though turbulent periods. She has been awarded a number of accolades; a Doctorate of Science (Honorary) for Leadership in Management (2011), an OBE for Services to Aviation (2013), membership into the British Travel Industry Hall of Fame (2014), a Travel Trade Gazette Outstanding Achievement award (2014), a Doctorate of Science (Honorary) for Outstanding Services to Aviation (2015) and a Doctorate of Science from Queen’s University Belfast for Economics (2016).
Chris sits on our advisory board, working closely with the Howgate Sable leadership team to develop the business.
