David began working life as a graduate trainee with Marks & Spencer before moving into the world of recruitment nearly 20 years ago.
Early work resourcing in the field of competition and regulatory economics led him to develop a real interest in the subject and he now enjoys strong relationships and an impressive network in the sector.
He understands the challenges and dynamics across regulators, industry and consulting firms, and has recruited extensively for all.
Many of those he has recruited are now part of the executive or partners in their organisations and he continues to provide a trusted search process to enable them to deliver through their teams and to develop their own careers.
The roles have ranged across economists, lawyers, financial experts and policy and regulatory affairs specialists, as well as strategy leaders.
Clients include regulators in the UK and overseas, large professional services firms and specialist boutiques, as well as many listed regulated businesses.
He has enjoyed supporting the creation and growth of new regulatory organisations and consulting firms, and learned much about intricacies as varied and challenging as off-shore regulation, enforcement and litigation, and spectrum auction management.
David is proud of the many long-held clients he has supported around the world whilst always being keen to develop new partnerships and to understand new requirements.
Away from the core of his work David also enjoys relationships with various other businesses including one of the world’s leading auction houses and other diverse organisations.
